Kiting is not running
Dear Scrubs,
when I am walking away from your "godly chaos axe" you're wielding in your tin-can armour, I am doing that to minimize the damage I get from it. There are good articles on why it is necessary NOT to stand still and get ragefaced.
Running, dear scrubs, implies using a speed boost like "sprint", "rush", "dodge", "escape", "stormchaser". Even that is sometimes necessary to do for seeking cover and healing up. Most low-AL targets can't afford the luxury of a speed-boost though. That's why we kite, not to personally offend you or make you look shameful (a feeling your hormon-disturbed personality would never know), but as a team effort.
When you "chase" me and activate Gladiator's Defense, Ripostes, don't expect me to duel you with my +5 energy sword and trigger the damage. I am not your personal Ettin, Grawl or Griffon. I'd only drop dead, but never loot, not even any single green.
Your damage output is so laughable, I could actually not kite at all and just stand still and heal happily, but I won't. I want you to feel the pain of getting 10 adrenaline up for your "final thrust" which you unload on me on >90% of my health bar anyway.
Calling me and all others who kite, "noob runners", might make you feel a lot better and perhaps serve as an alternative therapy, but in fact: It does not. It's the very rage inside you, you can't handle personally but need to vent online, anonymously - and I'll help you experience it.
I'm your personal nightmare, the ghost that's haunting you, making you sweat and breath heavily in your tin can until you suffocate.....
or you could just play a real warrior build and start killing me.

Take it to the RA board. Or better yet, RA itself.

omg some1 else that understand me ^^
Some a War comes up to me and im wearing 60 AL stuff.. He starting slashing away at my Face.. i ofc start moving to lower the dmg i take.. Then the Warrior starts with the goold old, "Fight with Honor.. Dont be a coward.. Stop running.."
And its just extreemly hard to explain to this idiots why its good to run.. They ALL think its better to fight with honor and die in combat,... Even tho it means getting smacked down with a War while using a caster class who has no interest in dealing with Warriors at all... The OP made this thread to explain to this idiots why we aint cowards and honorless ppl when we run from an Axe Warrior Raging in our face..
very needed thread infact x.x

Why we run? I am monk most of my time and I prefer to run, cause in that way i give the chasing me warrior less hits. If i stand still I get more hits, and if he hits frenzy, I got punched even more. While running he can't hit me even once, or hits me barely. It's not hard to understand, isnt it?
Of course. i do not encourage people to run when their team is dead and they are the last man standing in the arena. That is pretty noobish. You can't turn the tides of the battle. You got owned, learn to live with that. Just leave or be killed. Hoping that after 30 min or running (if you are lucky and you dont get blocked at some bridge and etc) they might leave and you can get 20 more faction is pathetic.

AB has plenty of this, specially the r/n touchers: "stop running you noob, come and fight me like a man!" Hate them and their filthy trash talks, who would stand and get wiped out by them unless your a mezmer with diverison...

Just examples, you are missing the whole point of the thread. Others didn't oviously. Doesn't matter which weapon, warriors with no speed boost are generally bad players.

The point of my post was to show that you didn't even read what you posted, or you wouldnt have quoted my first post in this thread.

The good warriors bring some way to stop kiting, be it a speed boost, bull's strike or shock. The axe and sword warriors usually have laughable damage output that doesn't even register until you have 3 of them on you.
However, the knockdown chain warriors with bull's strike, devastating hammer, hammer bash, and shock make my monk's life a living hell.

These guys are priceless when they come at you while your playing Cripshotter. Calling you a coward for staying out of range... so you stop... lay a barbed trap... and they run straight over it ^^
God i love morons who play warriors.
Not all warrior builds need a speed burst you know... Hammstorm!

Congratulations on making your point in such a manner, welcome to Guru by the way.
Perhaps if you were to leave your pent up agression/disdain at the door you'd be listened to a little more.

I am not good at kiting, I feel that if I am moving around I am not helping my team, I cant cast if I am always running. And if I slow down i get "ragefaced" as you guys put it. I am trying to get better though.
Of course warrior's dont want you to kite. Even the ones that know you arent a dishonorable noob. They will try to say things to get under your skin to make you stand still, don't listen to them.

I hope you don't believe anyone really expects you to just stand there and "fight like a man." The warriors or r/n's (whatever) are simply agitated that you're interfering with their path to glory. So they strike out at you the only way they can. "what ya running for you noob coward!"

I play warrior with no speed boost...and my solution to kiters is the ground.
You can't kite on if your on back.
I beat on another warrior until my skills are charged and then I target squishies.
DH, HB, BS ftw.
Add some stonefist guantlets and bonus dmg while down, the only kiters I see are dead kiters.
I can get up to 325 damage in one chain (276 of the damage is armor ignoring)
So if you see my Hammer Wammo comming...RUN and RUN fast, because there is no kiting for you.
P.S. - The enchant I have on me is NOT mending.

Uh-huh. And that's precisely why axe warriors are more popular than hammer in high-level GvG?
